Welfare and Development Program
Apart from its certificate-oriented vocational training programs mentioned above, INCD team (faculty members and students) also associated with other welfare activities.
Health Camps:
INCD in collaboration with various NGOs and local clubs conducted more than 15 Free Health Camps, Free Physiotherapy camps in and around Kolkata and district towns as listed below.
2014:
- Blood Donation Camp, Health cam and distribution of free medicine at Raipur, Bankura in February, 2014
2015:
- Free Physiotherapy camp (with free BMD test) organized in collaboration with HALPAGE INDIA, a Kolkata based NGO in April 2015
2016:
- Free Physiotherapy camp organized in collaboration with SAHOMORMI, a Kolkata based NGO for free health check-up and advice of aged community of Dhakuria area
- Free Physiotherapy camp organized for the boarders of NABANIR old age home in August 2016
- Free Health camp (with free BMD test) organized at Chetla in September 2016
- Free Health camp and Physiotherapy camp organized at 41 Pally Club, Haridebpur in November 2016
2017:
- Free Physiotherapy Camp at Bramha Samaj, Dhakuria in March 2017
- Free Physiotherapy Camp and Free Orthosis distribution to aged people at Chetla in April 2017
- Free Physiotherapy Camp at Sankar Math, Ramrajatala, Howrah in June 2017
- Free Health Camp, Physiotherapy camp (with free BMD test and distribution of free medicines) organized in collaboration with HALPAGE INDIA, a Kolkata based NGO for 250 aged people at Thakurpukur, Behala in July 2017
- Free Health Camp, Physiotherapy camp (with free BMD test and distribution of free medicines) organized in collaboration with HALPAGE INDIA, a Kolkata based NGO for 310 aged people at Belgharia in December 2017
Participation of INCD students and faculty members in Medical teams
INCD participated in the medical team of Special Olympic held in Kolkata.
Garment distribution in collaboration with Bastro Bank
INCD in collaboration with the Bastro Bank of Alipurduar distributed old garments to the workers of closed tea gardens of Dimdima.
