Prof. Siuli Roy
Siuli Roy is the Professor of Information Technology department, Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata, India. She received her PhD in Computer Science & Engineering from Jadavpur University. She has around 22 years of experience in business, academic research and software development in organizations of international repute including Advanced Telecommunications Research Institute, Japan. With an aim to give practical shape to her research interest, she is currently involved in devising innovative strategies to use mobile and wireless technologies for societal benefit.
Dr. Partha Protim Roy
Partha Protim Roy is a consultant physiotherapist having his own well-equipped clinic at south Kolkata. He is ex-physiotherapy in-charge of West Bengal State Sports Council and currently an empanelled physiotherapist at CESC.Ltd. He is also a life member of Indian Association of Sports Medicine and The Indian Association of Physiotherapist. At INCD, he imparts his specialized knowledge to empower marginalized youths with vocational training on physiotherapy and audiology and speech language pathology. Till today he has trained around 500 students and helped them in securing jobs in the urban service sectors.
Prof. Somprakash Bandyopadhyay
Somprakash Bandyopadhyay is the Director of Center for Career and Life-Design Counselling and Former Professor at Management Information Systems and Research Director of Social Informatics Research Group at Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. Having more than three decades of R&D experiences in emerging technologies and their commercial applications, Professor took initiative in promoting social entrepreneurship by way of solving social problems using digital technologies. After creating the social venture, he took the role of mentoring the team.
Jayanta Basak
Jayanta Basak is presently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Budge Budge Institute of Technology. He was a former Senior Research Associate in the Social Informatics Research Group (SIRG) at the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta (IIMC). He was also a Senior Research Fellow of Information Technology Research Academy (ITRA), MeitY, Govt. of India. He is the Founder-Director and Technology Head of NexConnect Ventures Pvt Ltd, a startup working towards a mission to impart quality education to underprivileged children using digital technologies, fostering guided and self-organized interactive learning processes using the Internet and social web.
