COMPAS (COMmunity Profiling & ASsessment)
Creating Community profile through Mobile app based interaction with community to understand the summary of baseline conditions and trends in a community and study area. COMPAS helps to identify INCD’s scope of intervention as well as objectively measure the outcome of our intervention. Community profiles can also serve as a useful informational resource to government in subsequent formulation and implementation of rural welfare schemes.
COMPAS offers:
- Life and livelihood profile (adult-child ratio, Adult-Young Ratio, male-female ratio, basic literacy level, digital literacy level, teacher-student ratio, major professions, average family income etc.)
- Special skills pertaining to the community (if any like, heritage arts and crafts)
- Sharable Community resources (if any)
- Available infrastructure profile (for education, healthcare, road connectivity, cyclone centres, common service centres)
